Why shouldn't disabled people pay for parking?

We know that Medway Maritime is changing its policy on blue badge holders because one of our listeners Deborah called us on her way back from a hospital appointment with her Dad. She said word had just got out about the new disabled parking charges and everyone was talking about it. Do you think it is fair that disabled people pay to park like everyone else?

This is not the only Kent hospital where blue badge holders pay to park - at the new Tunbridge Wells Hospital at Pembury they have to pay, and you have been calling us to tell us there is a 拢1.00 charge at Darent Valley though that does entitle blue badge holders to stay as long as they like.
Who should pay to park in hospital car parks. Is it fairer that we are all treated the same?

Should disabled people pay to park at hospital like everyone else?

Would you step in and help if you saw another person being attacked in the street?

One teenager from Ashford did, when she witnessed a 21 year-old man lying on the floor being kicked and punched by three men in an underpass.

15 year-old Josie Wilding-Mitton was out walking with her dad on Saturday night when she saw the attack and confronted the gang who then grabbed their victims phone before running off.

We speak to Josie and her dad Robin.

We hear your views and stories.
