A member of Uefa's technical study group at the European Championship reviews the tournament. Lars Lagerback, who was in charge of Sweden during their most consistently successful period, says Spain are the best international team he's ever seen but they would be even better with a striker. He praises the respect between players at the Euros but says the tournament is easier than the World Cup.

The President of the Oman FA Khalid Al-Busaidy, says it would be a disaster if they're kicked out of World Cup qualifying by Fifa. Football's governing body is unhappy that a court has ordered a re-election of the FA's board. Al-Busaidy also tells us that while foreign players will be welcome in the country's new pro league, they won't be co-opted into the national team as they are elsewhere in the Middle East.
