Social media is in the news again for all the wrong reasons after British diver Tom Daley was abused on Twitter.
Daley had just come fourth in his synchronised event when he received a message telling him he'd let down his father, who died last year from brain cancer.
Action has been taken in the past against abuse on social media sites, earlier this year a student in Wales was sentenced to 56 days in prison for posting racially offensive comments about footballer Fabrice Muamba.
