Lesley speaks to Rob Wise, Regional Advisor for the Country Land and Business Association, about the government's plans for super-fast Broadband. The Culture Secretary, Jeremy Hunt, says he wants to beat the target of 90% of the country by 2015, but can it be done?
Suffolk could get a one million pound boost to its economy thanks to the Tour of Britain. This year's event starts in Ipswich on the 9th September and features none other than Olympic gold-winning cyclist Bradley Wiggins. Lesley grabs a chat with Colin Noble, the Suffolk County Councillor responsible for Sport.
Traders in Peasenhall are complaining that roadworks have closed their high street in the middle of summer. Vehicles are being diverted away from the village, which sits on the A1120 tourist route, so that Anglian Water can carry out sewage works. Following on from Michael Morpurgo's hugely successful War Horse, filmakers have announced the date of the release of his Private Peaceful which was filmed entirely on location here in Suffolk. It was a huge coup for the county and for the company Khaki Devil who were involved providing costumes, props and advice. The company's founder Taff Gillingham joins Lesley for a chat.
