Was Hitler always planning to go to war?

The clip begins with a timeline and then examines Hitler's actions in the 1920s and 1930s against his stated aims. It uses the words of Hitler from Mein Kampf about Aryan superiority and the need for Lebensraum ('living space' for the expanding Germany) in Eastern Europe and Russia. The intention to abolish the Versailles Treaty is examined alongside the rearmament and remilitarisation of the Rhineland and Anschluss. Finally, the clip uses the words of Churchill to suggest that there were always those who saw Hitler's aim as war.
