Cricket, gender and equality in an Indian school
As a private Indian school prepares for its end of term cricket tournament, their (male) star player talks about his aspirations to become a professional. Meanwhile, a 12-year-old female student is less than impressed by her spectator-only role, and feels she should be able to play. During a break time game, she is able to take on the boys, however sceptical they may be. When a female teacher offers the girls the chance to form their own team, lack of interest means the idea is abandoned.
