In the news hour from 5pm, Warren Hill Young Offender's institution in Hollesley has been praised for its progress. The comments have been made in the annual report of the prison's Independent Monitoring Board. However, it also raises concerns about the lack of work being carried out to help boys deal with their criminal behaviour. Warren Hill is for young people aged between 15 and 17. James talks to the IMB's Chairman, Penny Creasy.
Extra crews have been brought in to speed up the Fore Street Roadworks in Ipswich. The project, run by National Grid, is a 9 month scheme to replace gas mains in the area. Local businesses have complained that the works are putting their customers off from coming to their stores. James speaks to National Grid's Raymond Miller and to Sherry Bloom from Ladies That Lunch on Fore Street.

It seems that the 2012 games have encouraged many people to take up sport. Warren Smyth, Chief Executive of Abbeycroft Leisure which operates the sports centres in Bury St Edmunds and Haverhill, tells James that the number of people using their facilities has gone up.
In the first hour from 4pm, Elvis at the Spa Pavilion in Felixstowe and Jeff Wayne remakes his seminal 1978 double album War of the Worlds with Liam Neeson and Gary Barlow.
After 6pm, James finishes our A to Z of featured artists with XTC, Paul Young and Zager and Evans.
