The June Brides - Live session
August is the new June apparently...good job as we have the legendary June Brides in session tonight!
The June Brides had a brief life, 1983-86, but in that time they managed to write a debut LP, chart at No1 in the indie UK chart with it, be NME cover stars, tour with The Smiths, class John Peel as a fan and influence a generation of musicians. Not bad really!
Well they are back, and after releasing the double A-side A January Moon/Cloud on Occulation records and planning new gigs what was the next logical step? You got it right, to come play a session for Marc!
