Rose speaks to Woman's Hour presenter Jane Garvey about her new novel which picks up the story of physician Robert Merivel, the protagonist of her much-loved earlier work, Restoration. In Merivel: A Man of His Time we find the doctor in the 1680s at the French court at Versailles.
