The exam results have arrived - Bob and Brian have not done as well as expected. Zara has done moderately well, but not good enough for her parents, who blame it on her hanging around with Bob. Seeing Kirsty's envelope sends Raymond into a day-long despondency.Roisin spends the day trying to let Raymond know how much she fancies him, but he's too busy feeling sorry for himself to notice initially. Once he realises what is happening, he sets out to show Roisin that he's the kind of man she wants, one who isn't ashamed to show his feelings. Similarly, Roisin sets out to fetch him a cup of tea and a couple of outsiders and jam. She returns to Lazy Ray's to find Raymond with a copy of 'Sunshine on Leith' at the ready. Bob and Zara's every attempt at seeing one another is thwarted by Hana and Scarlett's constant scrutiny. They rendezvous at the doocot, where she tells him she might be going to University in Aberdeen. Bob tells her he'll go with her and they fantasise about their future together until they are caught by Hana and Scarlett. Both Bob and Zara are dragged one at a time into Scarlett's 'interrogation station' (ice cream van) and shouted at by the two mothers. This only serves to strengthen Bob and Zara's resolve; they declare their love to a shocked Hana and Scarlett. Later, Deek and Bob steal a cherrypicker and position it underneath Zara's bedroom window. With Deek at the controls, Bob is lifted up to the window with his stereo playing 'Sunshine on Leith'. He declares his love to Zara and proposes, arm outstretched, ring in hand.Ruth berates Scott for taking Dan back. He desperately tries to justify his decision and is backed up by Heather, which only irritates Ruth more. She then argues with Cormac about open relationships. They later make up, but not before Cormac and Joanne use it as an excuse to openly flirt with one another.Later, Scott catches Dan in his bed with another man. He throws their clothes out in the street to the amusement of the assembled Shieldinchers. His mood is worsened when Heather tells him his landlord has terminated the tenancy on the business after she 'accidentally' let it slip that she was subletting from him. Marcus comes to see Gina, asking her to go with him to the opera on Thursday. Gina has to refuse as it's her birthday, and Marcus is slightly put out.
