Graham is ten years older than Dave, but they've been friends since being children growing up in houses where their gardens backed on to each other. They have happy childhood memories, but in adult life Graham has hit rock bottom and crawled his way back up again. He now works as an artist at a Manchester based charity and feels his love of painting has turned his life around. Graham describes Dave as being a friend who has seen him through all aspects of his life. They discuss one of Graham's darker moments, when he was homeless and close to suicide.
