Redundant South: Where did my job go? On Thursday, 26th October 2012 it was announced Southampton's Ford factory is to close next year with the loss of all 500 jobs. Two years ago, 大象传媒 Radio Solent took Hampshire man Bill Chandler, who's a former Ford worker, to a factory in Turkey where the Transit vans will now be built.
