Looking at twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome
We were joined by the Wroe family as we looked at how mum Amanda had surgery 22 weeks into her pregnancy before giving birth to healthy twin boys Finley and Oliver.
The boys developed a rare condition called twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome which affected their blood supply and their chances of survival were one in ten.
However life-saving laser surgery when their mother was just 22 weeks pregnant saved them.
We were joined by Finley and Oliver their parents Amanda and Andy and along with the woman who performed the operation, Dr Leanne Bricker.
