Political conflict in Zimbabwe
Chantelle tells the story of the daily struggle for refugees, who, like her, have fled Zimbabwe and now sleep rough in neighbouring South Africa. She shows us around the church in the centre of Johannesburg where more than a thousand Zimbabwean refugees sleep each night in cramped and poor conditions. During her journey to South Africa, she and others had to cross a dangerous river where several people drowned. We hear that Chantelle has hopes of one day returning to Zimbabwe to finish school and helping others.
