Pentecostal Christians in South Africa
On a visit to a prayer vigil in a suburb of Johannesburg, South Africa, Pentecostal Christians emphasise the presence of the Holy Spirit in their lives. The Twelfth Apostolic Church broke away from the Protestant mainstream to start a new Christian church, with their own African reading of the Bible. The prayer and worship demonstrates their belief in the Holy Spirit. Christians talk about how the Holy Spirit gives them confidence and enables them to live without fear even in the lawless parts of the city. The presenter is prayed for and reflects on the experience.
