A boy and his family are on holiday in the Baltic resort of Binz. He writes a postcard and then reads the postcard aloud. It is written in the present tense and each activity mentioned is shown. Activities mentioned include playing ball, swimming, eating ice cream and going on a boat trip. When the postcard has been written Rolli and Rita sing a song about birthdays called 'Wann hast du Geburtstag?'. It has a catchy tune and is very repetitive. The question is repeated many times and the months are also well practised.
