A drama-documentary that tells the story of Melika. She is 24 and lives in South London. She was in an abusive relationship with the father of her two children. Her partner abused drink and drugs and on more than one occasion physically abused her. The abuse only came to an end when her partner was arrested and imprisoned for robbery. The film is based on an actual interview but for the safety of the interviewee, names have been changed and the words are spoken by actors.
