The indigenous people of Mexico
Not everyone in Mexico speaks Spanish. Some people speak Maya, a language similar to the one spoken by the indigenous people of Mexico. These native people have also passed down some of the traditional crafts and skills from generation to generation. In some remote areas, a few people have even kept their traditional spiritual beliefs and not converted to the Catholic religion.
