Weather and the seasons in Grenada
Presenter Andy visits Grenada, a tropical island nation in the Caribbean Sea, during the rainy season. Grenada has two seasons; a dry season and a rainy season when the rain falls in short but heavy bursts. The weather is always moist or humid, which makes the air feel even hotter. Plants in the rainforest, such as bamboo, palm and mango, like the humidity which is a feature of tropical countries. These countries lie in a belt above and below the Equator.
