Estimation - rounding numbers
A reporter interviews two pirates and a shopkeeper who has just been robbed of some chocolate eggs. The shopkeeper thinks the pirates have stolen her eggs. A sack containing chocolate eggs is found but the pirates say they got them elsewhere. To resolve the matter the reporter asks the shopkeeper how many eggs she had originally and how many are left. He then does a rough calculation rounding both numbers to the nearest 10. When they count the eggs in the sack they closely match the number of missing eggs. The pirates confess!
