Childhood in the 1970s
Kevin decides to take his sister's transistor radio into school without asking. He shows it off to his friends but is caught by a teacher, who confiscates it. Kevin worries that the teachers won't return the radio. He and his friends go to the staff room after school where they find the teachers listening to the radio. Kevin as an adult believes that the teachers returned the transistor radio because they were caught listening to it.
