Building sculptures out of snow and ice
Winter in Sweden. Competitions are held to make sculptures out of snow. Every year a hotel is built entirely of snow and ice. Snow is blown onto a metal frame. Once the frame is removed the snow is smoothed and ice pillars are carved to support the roof. Everything inside is made out of ice including the beds, bar, glasses and tables.
