Who were the Picts and the Scotti?
There is still archaeological evidence of the Picts in Scotland, but no written records. The Picts were mainly farmers and lived on one side of the Grampian mountains. The Scotti were also farmers, but lived on the opposide side of the mountains. They also spoke a completely different language.
