Skeletons
An introduction to the skeletons of humans and other animals. Inside the human body are the bones of our skeleton, which supports our body. The skeleton provides a protective cage for the delicate organs inside. The rib-cage protects the heart and lungs. As we grow, our skeleton grows with us. The human skeleton is made up of more than 200 bones. Includes X-ray images of static and moving humans and cheetahs. Also includes images of the skeletons of a bird and a frog.
