Bonnie Prince Charlie arrived at Glenfinnan as planned. The Stuart flag was raised by the Duke of Atholl, and by the end of the day over 1,000 men stood ready to support the Prince. The Lone Highlander at Glenfinnan stands as a monument to their courage.
