Archaeological evidence about the Picts
Remains of woollen and leather clothing, and tools and weapons from Pictish times have all been uncovered. From these clues, archaeologists have learned that farming played a very important part in the Picts’ lives. Growing crops and keeping domestic animals provided raw materials for food and clothing.
