The bacteria that lives on skin
If we looked at our skin through a microscope we would see tiny crannies and crevices. Millions of bacteria live and grow inside these tiny crevices, with their population doubling every twenty minutes. It is a short and dangerous life for bacteria, as the surface of the skin they live on is continually eroding. We shed skin all the time and with it we lose 25,000 bacteria a minute. Most of the dust in the home is actually flakes of skin complete with bacteria.
