Seabirds - a summary
The main features of seabirds, and a look at why Scotland is a good home for them. Seabirds can drink sea water. They live longer than smaller birds and fly to warmer climates in the winter. Scotland's miles of coastline provide them with safe nesting sites with access to plenty of food.
