Making a rocket from kitchen equipment
Children learn about the chemical reaction that makes a rocket launch. A group of pupils visiting W5, a science centre in Northern Ireland, watch two girls making rockets. Their recipe for firing them involves vinegar, bicarbonate of soda and washing up liquid, all mixed together in a plastic bottle.
