How processed cheese is produced
Farmer Jimmy Doherty investigates the difference between normal cheese and processed cheese. He demonstrates how to make normal cheese, separating the curds and whey from milk by adding acid to separate the solids and liquid. Jimmy fries a piece of each cheese to show how the fat does not seep out of processed cheese. He then goes on to make his normal cheese into processed cheese by adding water and milk proteins.
