Joining an orchestra
Amy Cardigan and Alice Rickards, two of the newest members of the ´óÏó´«Ã½ Scottish Symphony Orchestra, describe their experiences in the orchestra. They talk about the audition process, preparing for concerts and the difference between the roles of the first and second violins. Amy and Alice also talk about their tuition work with a local amateur orchestra and why they feel a responsibility to pass on what they have learned. Features a duet performance of Bach’s ‘Concerto for Two Violins’.
