Natural landmarks in the Scottish Southern Uplands
Tour guide Tess and the alien Sprocket visit two of the most famous natural landmarks in the Southern Uplands of Scotland. The Grey Mare's tail is the UK's fifth biggest waterfall, so named because of its resemblance to a horse's tail. The Devil's Beef Tub is a short, steep-sided, 'tub-like' valley, previously used to hide stolen cattle.
