Greenland鈥檚 retreating sea ice
Kate Humble goes to the town of Kulusuk to discover the extraordinary icescapes of Greenland in early March. Even though the Northern hemisphere is getting warmer, the ocean is still frozen. The water is still losing heat and the ice is actually thickest in March. Kate also finds that the size of the winter ice sheet across the Arctic has been reducing over the past 20 years. This may be due to human activity.
