What powers do the Scottish Parliament and Westminster have?
Although the Scottish government can make many decisions it is still tied to Westminster. Westminster makes laws on so called reserved powers like defence, immigration and social security. The Scottish parliament and Executive deal with devolved powers like health, education and social work. Whether these powers have been enough for Holyrood is questioned.
