Trevithick's Steam Engine
Eddie Butler looks at two great inventions in Wales at the beginning of the industrial revolution. He describes the trial run of Richard Trevithick's steam engine on February 21st, 1804 at Penydarren, Merthyr Tydfil and the invention of the steam whistle by Adrian Stevens in 1833 at the Dowlais steel works.
