Prisoners of War Escape, 1945
In 1945, Britain's only major German prisoner escape of the Second World War took place from the Island Farm PoW camp near Bridgend. All were recaptured. In 1977 some of these ex PoWs went back to the site of their escape to remember their experiences of life on the run in wartime Britain.
