January 1975

Harold Wilson was Prime Minister
A cross Solent hovercraft caught fire.

A crane driver was killed when the cab of his giant crane plunged 80ft onto the deck of a ship below in South Wales.

Footballer Bruce Grobelaar was in court in Southampton, accused of match fixing.
