First transmitted in 1986, Michael Dutfield reports on tensions in South Africa between the black township of Munsieville and its neighbouring white suburb of Krugersdorp.Across South Africa, young black people are frustrated by the lack of change and as a result a revolutionary organisation known as 'the 'Comrades' has gained momentum in Munsieville. Its growth has resulted in even tougher policing measures. However, some Afrikaners are considering their own forms of resistance. Interviews with individuals who have differing viewpoints are featured, including eye-witness accounts from victims of violence on both sides.
