#WHYS Is the future of Singapore in the hands of immigrants?

Over 4000 demonstrators in Singapore protested against plans to increase population over the weekend.

At least 4000 people joined in one of Singapore鈥檚 largest ever protests at plans to boost the city states population. Many people believe that Singapore has barely coped with the influx of immigrants over the past 10 years, with some commenting that inviting an extra 1 million people will not benefit the average person in any way. However the Government says Singaporeans aren鈥檛 having enough babies. But will more immigrants mean the state loses its identity?
