Changing the face of beauty: Lancashire model embraces her childhood scars
A woman from Burnley is hoping to raise awareness of the bullying burns victims face by pursuing her dreams of becoming a model.
Labonyya Siddiqui was only eight years old when a kerosene lamp exploded in her face leaving her with 40% burns.
Throughout her school life she was bullied based on the scars she was left with, now aged 21 she has decided to show the world that beauty is only skin deep.
In a candid interview with Mussarrat Abbasi, Labonyya explains how she got her scars and how pursuing her ambition has changed her life…
