Diverse policing: the call for more Black and Asian officers continues - Northampton
One of Britain's most senior ethnic minority policemen, Chief Superintendent Dal Babu, says many of his colleagues just "don't get it" when it comes to ethnic recruitment and called for "radical measures". Ethnic minority officers in England and Wales make up 5 per cent of the workforce. Superintendent Leroy Logan, a founder member and past chair of both the National and London Black Police Associations, tells 大象传媒 Northampton's Mark Dean that race has fallen off the agenda.
