Downing Street Declaration
Denis Murray, the 大象传媒's Ireland Correspondent between 1988 and 2008, looks back on the significance of the Downing Street Declaration of December 1993. Major described it as "a declaration for democracy and dialogue based on consent", while Reynolds viewed it as "an historic opportunity for peace".
