The Buttercross restoration
Ben Jackson has been to delve into the restoration of the Buttercross in Mountsorrel. Originally built as a cover for local farmers to sell their butter underneath, it's become the symbol of the village.
It's coming to the end of a major restoration at the moment, so Ben went for a look and caught up with local parish councillor, Dr. Stan Coates, and the MD of the company who've been carrying out the work, Derick Park from Midlands Stone Masons
