The Lifeline programme featured an article about the Linen Hall Library celebrating its 225th Birthday this year. This short film was made in addition - George priestly talks about how librarian staff 鈥榝ound鈥� the Spitfire book during a tidy up for Prince Charles visit. Winston Churchill had challenged the people of Northern Ireland to buy a Spitfire plane during the war. This book lists all the donors and the money went onto buy 17 Spitfire planes.
