Winning the Nobel Prize

Richard Feynman discusses winning the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1965 alongside Sin-Itiro Tomonaga and Julian Schwinger. Feynman showed how to control and analyse the earlier quantum theory of electricity and magnetism. The Nobel foundation awarded the prize for “fundamental work in quantum electrodynamics, with deep-ploughing consequences for the physics of elementary particles".
