Japanese sound artist Fuyuki Yamakawa plugs guitars into radioactive soil taken from the Fukushima power plant site via geiger counters and the resulting readings are translated into music by the instruments. He believes this is a way of demonstrating a truth that the Japanese authorities and nuclear corporation would rather people not be aware of.
