HSBC and the rainforests - Bill Oddie speaks out
The veteran British conservationist Bill Oddie has criticised banking group HSBC over its links to logging companies in Malaysia. On the island of Borneo, ancient rainforest is being chopped down for wood - and often to make way for palm oil plantations. HSBC has ordered an investigation into the links. Bill Oddie spoke to the 大象传媒's Rob Young after attending HSBC's annual general meeting in London, where he and others quizzed HSBC's board about its ethical policies.
