Protestors have taken to the streets in more than a hundred American cities to demonstrate how angry they are about the US security agencies spying on their emails and tracking telephone calls. Business Matters hears from Xander Snyder, organiser of a rally in Los Angeles, about the aims of the campaign group Restore The Fourth. After days of protests Egypt has sworn in a new interim president, but Adly Mansou faces a huge challenge to get the country's troubled economy back on an even keel. Business Matters gets the view of Ahmed Fathalla, a 28 year old entrpreneur, who runs a software company called Gyrolabs in Cairo. He believes younger business people like him with an entrepreneurial spirit are the future for Egypt. The International Monetary Fund has agreed to lend Pakistan $5 billion, but could the stringent conditions attached to the loan cause more problems for the dent ridden countries. The deal should help to calm fears of financial instability in Pakistan, but just six years after the last IMF bailout, Tim Jones from the Jubilee Debt campaign, tells Business Matter it will just keep the nation indebted for longer.
