America isn't the only nation with a great dream. China's president Xi Jinping has been dream weaving too - trying to find ways to inspire his people to aspire to a better life, supported by a higher income. It is part of his project to sustain China's formidable growth and propel its people into the ranks of the world's middle class.

The 大象传媒's chief business correspondent, Linda Yueh, will be explaining how the Chinese dream looks very much like the American one - except without the picket fence.
