A busload of Middle Eastern football fans arrive at Wembley stadium for the 2013 FA Cup final between Wigan Athletic and Manchester City. They've come to support Ali Al-Habsi - one of Wigan's goalkeepers, who is also captain of the Oman national team. He's the only Muslim player from the Gulf region in the Premier League and has a huge following in Oman, and across the Middle East. When the Arab fans get off the bus they are immediately joined by Wigan fans from the North West. The fans dance and sing together, celebrating Ali Al-Habsi and Wigan Athletic. Commentary from football manager Sam Allardyce, Muslim player Ali Al-Habsi and football journalist Henry Winter draws out the positive effects of football. They spell out how having Muslim players in the Premier League encourages a greater understanding of Islam. They also talk about the social effects of football and how, by bringing diverse people together, it is a great model for how society should be.
